Frequently asked questions

Do I need to give my name or contact details to see quotes?

No. To return rates, the tool needs gender, birth date, health status, tobacco use, a coverage amount and a term. That's sufficient to quote you. Your name, address, or medical records are only collected if you decide to apply.

Are the monthly prices shown the price I will pay?

The figures reflect what each carrier quotes for your selected health class. The actual premium is set by the carrier's underwriting, which can confirm, improve, or adjust your class. Quotes on this site are for comparison and don't guarantee any particular price.

What happens when I click Apply?

You enter the carriers' secure application system with your answers prefilled. You can save, return later, and use an electronic signature. Susman Insurance Agency, a licensed California entity (License 0B75129), administers your application.

Will I need a medical exam?

It depends on the carrier, the coverage amount, and your answers. Carriers with accelerated programs can approve many candidates without exams; each quote here shows whether an exam is required, may be required, or is not needed.

Is a longer term better?

A policy term should span the years when your household would genuinely suffer from lost income: a home loan, dependent children, a business obligation. Longer terms charge more monthly but fix the rate longer. Compare 10-, 15-, 20-, 25- and 30-year options side by side.

Does this site sell my information?

No. The quote tool doesn't collect contact information, we don't sell or share data, and our measurement uses no cookies. Full details on the privacy page.
